The Havana sky dark with blag flags

Well now we know, not Cuban flags, but just plain black flags, 138 to be exact. That is how many flags it takes to block the lighted ticker tape sign at the American mission in Havana. Although, it is not yet known how succesful it has been in blocking the sign. Each flag is supposed to represent the number of years since 1868 that Cuba has fought for indipendence. Therefore, by its own admission Cuba is still not free from oppression. I though that the dictator had taken care of that in 1959?
